Project Overview

Axis Lighting needed a smarter way to put product configuration in the hands of architects, designers, and specifiers. Tacet is the result a browser-based tool that lets users build, visualize, and spec acoustic lighting systems without ever picking up the phone.

The Challenge

Acoustic lighting is complex. The combinations of sizes, finishes, and mounting options are vast, and the traditional process of going back and forth with a sales rep was slow and friction-heavy.

The goal was to make that process feel effortless and built to last.

Our Approach

We mapped the full specifier journey from first touch to final spec, identifying where confusion and drop-off happened most. We then designed and developed an intuitive configurator, pairing a clean, decision-guided UI with solid front-end architecture that handles complex product logic without breaking a sweat.

The Result

A fully functional web configurator that empowers specifiers to work independently, reduces sales team overhead, and positions Axis Lighting as a forward-thinking manufacturer at the intersection of design and technology.
